AppVIVE Focus Vision

HyperTunnel on HTC VIVE Focus Vision works like it does on Meta Quest: the same menu, tools and gestures (see Meta Quest).

Hands, not controllers​

HyperTunnel is used with hand tracking; controllers are not supported. Pinch to grab, poke buttons with your fingertip, and use gestures to move (see Interactions and Moving Around).

A quick pinch counts as a tap if you release it within about a third of a second.

In the lobby​

  • The lobby is see-through, so you can read your authenticator code on your phone without taking the headset off.
  • Type on the app's floating keyboard.
  • The button on your left wrist brings the lobby window back in front of you.

In a job​

The same as on Meta Quest: you enter Homebase in VR with the menu in front of you, and have HyperNote, Jump, Settings, Rock Climb, World Rotate, Stream, Shelf and Arrow (see In a Job).

Differences from Meta Quest​

  • Enter Job from the Web Console does not open the app on Focus Vision: the link stays in the browser. Enter jobs from the app's job list instead (see Enter Job).
